When NZ Super Fund asked us for a team building event in Auckland, we didn’t just deliver… we unleashed 90 finance professionals in full Halloween get-up across the CBD, and it was glorious chaos.
Te Komititanga Square turned into costume central as 18 competitive teams assembled in wigs, wings, and werewolf ears for a Halloween-themed Auckland Amazing Race like no other. Because nothing screams “professional development” like seeing your CFO sprinting down Queen Street dressed as Dracula!
Our custom Auckland team building challenges revealed some brilliant contrasts:
🧛♂️ Finance gurus who couldn’t land a ring toss to save their life
🌶️ Palate pros totally stumped by spice jars
📣 Cheer routines that startled tourists
🏌️♂️ Swat golf swings that endangered our poor hosts
🎯 Slingshot action that had everyone ducking for cover!
Costumes added just the right amount of chaos, limiting depth perception, coordination, and dignity in the best way possible.
As the madness unfolded, one team reigned supreme: the fabulous Pink Team, who claimed victory (and the trophy) at Public Bar. Meanwhile, the Silver Team embraced the wooden spoon with suspicious excitement… possibly because last place = first dibs on the bar tab.
This race wasn’t just about fun (although there was a lot of that). It was about communication, collaboration, and letting your guard down, even if that meant doing a conga line in a cape.
