Recently, we hosted a Sunshine Coast Amazing Race around Nambour for seven teams of four. From the moment everyone arrived in costume, we knew this was going to be a fantastic day.
The outfits certainly didn’t disappoint. We had a team of Red Wiggles, a Teletubby, White Cowboys and even a dinosaur. Everywhere they stopped, they attracted plenty of attention and even more laughs.
A Driving Amazing Race with a Difference
After a quick briefing, the teams jumped into their cars and set off on their Corporate Amazing Race adventure.
Instead of staying in one location, they travelled between checkpoints across the Sunshine Coast. At every stop, they faced a brand-new challenge. As a result, communication, strategy and teamwork became just as important as finding the next location.
This Driving Amazing Race wasn’t about speed. Instead, it rewarded teams that worked together, solved problems and supported one another throughout the day.
Outdoor Team Building That Keeps Everyone Involved
Along the way, teams tackled a variety of fun and interactive challenges.
They carefully guided teammates through the Minefield challenge. Next, they tested their aim with the Slingshots. They also worked together to master the ever-popular Pipelines challenge before completing a series of creative photo tasks around the Sunshine Coast.
Each activity tested a different skill. Some required patience. Others rewarded communication, planning or creative thinking. Because every challenge was different, everyone had the opportunity to contribute to their team’s success.

Costumes Made the Day Even Better
Of course, the costumes became one of the biggest talking points of the event.
Watching a dinosaur complete the Minefield challenge or the Red Wiggles battle it out at the Slingshots created plenty of memorable moments. Meanwhile, the White Cowboys and Teletubby were determined to climb the leaderboard and claim the ultimate bragging rights.
The costumes helped everyone relax from the very beginning. More importantly, they encouraged plenty of laughs and created an atmosphere where people could simply enjoy themselves.
