Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Tailored Team Building New Zealand. We deliver memorable team building experiences, both in person and online, crafted with creativity, energy, and professionalism. As one of New Zealands’s trusted team building companies, we offer a wide range of team building ideas tailored to your team’s goals.
These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings for our team building services.
1. Booking & Deposit
A non-refundable 20% deposit is due at the time of booking to secure your date and time.
This deposit confirms your booking and allows us to allocate resources, staff, and planning time.
Once the deposit is received, your booking is official and the date is locked in.
2. Payment Terms
The remaining balance is due no later than 3 days before your event.
If full payment is not received within 7 days after your event has been delivered, we reserve the right to apply a 10% late fee to the outstanding invoice.
Any reductions to your team numbers or changes to the final balance invoice must be confirmed at least 48 hours before the event. After that, no refunds or changes are permitted as staffing and logistics are already finalised.
3. Rescheduling & Postponements
Should you need to postpone the event with less than 48 hours’ notice, you will be responsible for staffing costs at $150 per staff member.
This is to cover expenses for staff who were scheduled and prepared to facilitate your event.
4. Booking Fees for Venue Changes
If an indoor event needs to be relocated at the last minute, due to weather or other unforeseen issues, we charge a venue sourcing fee of $300.
This covers the time and logistics involved in finding a suitable alternative venue quickly.
Note: we are not responsible for the internal operations or safety of the venue itself.
5. Cancellation
We do not offer refunds for cancelled events once the deposit is paid.
However, we will work with you to reschedule your event at a time that suits your team and availability.
6. Event Delivery & Customisation
As a leading provider of team building activities and experiences, we customise every event to match your team’s energy, culture, and objectives.
Whether you select indoor challenges, outdoor adventures, or virtual team bonding sessions, Tailored Team Building provides the platform, props, hosts, and structure.
Staff and facilitators are thoroughly trained to support any format, from in-person team building to hybrid or online formats.
7. Liability & Venue Responsibility
While we bring all necessary equipment, props, and personnel for your event, the client remains responsible for any venue-related issues such as public safety, health regulations, or facility conditions.
Tailored Team Building assumes no liability for venue-managed incidents or operating conditions outside our event facilities.
8. Amendments & Changes
Any requests to reduce attendee numbers or alter invoiced amounts must be received at least 48 hours before the event date.
Changes requested after this cut-off cannot be accommodated, as staff schedules, materials, and logistics are already locked in.
9. Insurance & Liability
Tailored Team Building holds current Public Liability Insurance for all of our events and facilitators.
While our insurance covers incidents directly related to the activities we provide, clients and their participants remain covered under their standard workplace insurance (WorkCover or equivalent) during corporate team building activities.
It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that all team members are aware of any physical requirements or risks associated with the event.
Tailored Team Building assumes no responsibility for injuries or incidents resulting from client negligence, unsafe behaviour, or pre-existing medical conditions.
