We recently hosted a Corporate Amazing Race for the Ray White Townsville team, and they absolutely showed up. Not just in attitude, but in full colour.
Before the event even began, teams had already been allocated their colours via a spinning wheel back in the office. So when we arrived on The Strand, it was a sea of bright outfits, team pride and a whole lot of friendly rivalry ready to unfold.
A Short Course… Packed with Action
This wasn’t a marathon-style race. Instead, we kept the distance tight around The Strand, but packed it full of high-energy challenges.
And honestly? That’s where the magic happens.
Teams moved quickly between checkpoints, tackling a mix of mental, creative and slightly ridiculous tasks, including:
Slingshot showdowns (accuracy under pressure = questionable)
Beachside sandcastle building with some very “creative” designs
Cheer routines that brought serious sideline energy
Spice challenges that definitely caught a few people off guard
It meant there was no downtime. Just constant movement, laughs and problem-solving. Exactly what you want from team building in Townsville.
