We were buzzing when the admin crew at the North Queensland Cowboys called us to run a Townsville Amazing Race. And honestly, what better place to kick things off than their legendary stadium right in the heart of Townsville?
Stadium Showdown
With the stadium team on board, we transformed the venue into an adrenaline-fuelled clue zone. Teams dashed up and down seating bays, tracked down hidden hints, cracked tough codes, and scrambled to secure their first checkpoint. It felt like a wild mash-up of hide-and-seek and footy strategy, and the energy was unreal.
Hitting the Streets of Townsville
But that was just the warm-up. Once the gates swung open, the Cowboys’ teams spilled into the streets, charging into full race mode. They zig-zagged through Townsville, uncovering local gems, smashing through custom challenges, and navigating roadblocks scattered across the city. From tropical backdrops to sneaky puzzle stops, every moment raised the stakes and fuelled the competition.
A Legendary Finish
By the time the race wrapped up, we had sore cheeks from laughing, plenty of sweaty racers, and a whole lot of Cowboy pride on display. The Townsville Amazing Race was fierce, fun, and unforgettable, and we couldn’t have been more stoked to be part of it.
