When the awesome crew at Sandoz reached out to us about their annual corporate retreat in Cairns, we knew they were our kind of people. Their plan? A tropical day out on Green Island (yes, that Green Island, just 50 minutes off the coast of Cairns in the middle of the Great Barrier Reef) and a Corporate Amazing Race to top it off. Game. On.

This wasn’t just your average island day trip. Nope, we turned paradise into a playground with custom-designed checkpoints scattered across the island, think sandy races, sneaky clues, palm tree pitstops, and a whole lot of competitive banter.

The Race Started Before They Even Got There

The Amazing Race kicked off the moment the team jumped aboard their private charter boat. Clues were flying, rivalries were forming, and the competitive energy was already at a solid 11/10 before their feet even hit the sand.

Once on Green Island, teams tore through the tropical terrain completing challenges, solving riddles, and maybe even dodging a sunbather or two in the name of glory.

Team Bonding, Tropical Style

After all the running, racing, and clue-cracking, teams cooled off with a spectacular island lunch and one lucky team was crowned champions of the reef.

We’ve hosted a lot of races, but this one? Pure magic. Crystal-clear water, swaying palms, hilarious challenges, and an all-star team who brought their A-game.
